I recently stayed at a wonderful retreat in the countryside, complete with a fully enclosed private garden and a fantastic hot tub. The property, Orchard View Retreat, was absolutely delightful. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly hosts, Dean and Lucie. They were incredibly communicative and always available when I needed them. The interiors of the property were beautifully maintained and exceptionally clean. The large sitting area provided stunning views of the surrounding countryside, making it a perfect place to relax. The kitchen came fully equipped, and the bedrooms were cozy with super comfortable beds. I especially appreciated the little personalized touches and the toiletries provided. It truly felt like a home away from home experience. Plus, being dog-friendly was a bonus for me and my furry friends. I had a fantastic stay at Orchard View Retreat and would definitely come back again.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. the property exceeded our expectations with its stunning countryside location and convenient parking. Plus, the hot tub was an absolute dream! We also loved the well-maintained interiors and the spacious sitting area that offered beautiful views. the fully equipped kitchen was a bonus, allowing us to prepare meals with ease. it truly felt like a home away from home.

the steps to enter the property were quite steep, especially in the lounge area, which might be challenging for some guests. the shingles in the garden were a bit excessive, making it difficult to walk on and causing the dining table chairs to sink into them.

the hosts were incredibly attentive and welcoming, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The location was peaceful and provided a much-needed retreat from the busy city. The spacious and well-equipped caravan had everything we needed, and the enclosed garden was perfect for our dogs to roam freely. Highly recommended.

Blinds/curtains needed on bay window

The terrace and garden were lovely, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful countryside. Private parking was convenient and the towels provided were a nice touch.

Oh, how I missed having a fancy blind/curtain on the bay window to shield me from the blinding sun! And those wall coat hangers, well, they definitely need some better securing.

We had a great value for our money at Orchard View Retreat. The room was comfortable and clean, with really thoughtful extras. The location was peaceful and convenient, with easy access to Clacton's amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay memorable.

The breakfast experience could have been improved with more variety.

Absolutely loved the peaceful and remote location, overlooking beautiful fields. The bed linen was clean and comfortable, and the towels were soft and luxurious. The private garden was a highlight, with its own furniture and a lovely hot tub. The hosts were quick to respond and provided a welcome package upon arrival. The internet was reliable, and the TV had all the extra features. it was a perfect quiet break with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

There were a few small issues that could be improved upon. The caravan could use some updating, but it was clean and well-maintained.

The kitchen is fully equipped and there are lovely little touches throughout the retreat. The front yard has a sitting area with BBQ facilities and there's also a grassy area for outdoor relaxation. The bedrooms are cozy and the beds are super comfortable. it was a home from home experience and I would definitely come back.
